These facilities require reliable, well-organized, and scalable IT infrastructure to support front-desk systems, digital services, security, and in-gym technology. Our work focused on new gym builds and renovations of existing locations, delivered within active construction environments while locations were closed to members during renovation phases. Each project was executed in phases to align with construction schedules and planned reopening timelines.

Throughout the project lifecycle, we maintained close coordination and regular handshakes with Company's Network and IT Support teams to ensure smooth execution, proper cutovers, and seamless handover prior to reopening. MAIN OBJECTIVE Deliver structured cabling, low-voltage systems, and full IT project management for new and renovated gym locations across Canada. Follow provided drawings and standards for all installations. Complete all work within construction schedules to support on-time gym reopenings. Ensure strict compliance with safety and working-at-height requirements.

SCOPE OF WORK

Installed Cat6 structured cabling and performed fiber termination strictly according to provided plans. Coordinated with construction teams to identify conduit requirements and ensure proper conduit placement before walls and ceilings were closed. Provided data cabling to critical gym systems, including member check-in stations, management workstations, and backend network equipment. Installed speaker systems for background music and paging throughout gym floors, locker rooms, and common areas. Installed CCTV cameras covering gym floors, entrances, exits, and exterior areas.

Deployed wireless access points to ensure full Wi-Fi coverage across workout areas, offices, and common spaces. Installed ceiling-mounted TVs throughout workout areas and cardio zones using coaxial cabling, including locations requiring up to 30 TVs installed in a single continuous straight line. Installed a video wall in designated feature areas, including mounting, precise alignment, cabling, and backend connections. Installed digital displays and monitors for member messaging, promotions, and operational use, with backend setup in the IT room.

IT ROOM CLEANUP & ORGANIZATION

Removed abandoned and unused cabling from IT rooms during renovation projects. Organized and dressed network racks with proper cable management. Properly mounted network and IT equipment. Labeled all cables and devices for easy identification. Created clean, organized, and support-friendly IT rooms for gym staff and IT teams.

IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT & SAFETY

Managed IT and low-voltage project activities from start to finish. Planned and executed work in phased deployments aligned with construction schedules and reopening milestones.
